As we persevere through these tough times, the Living River Trust thought this would be the perfect time to share some good news.

In April, the Living River Trust set aside for permanent protection nearly 500 acres of forest at the edge of the Great Dismal Swamp in Chesapeake. The Living River Trust is a local land conservancy serving coastal Virginia and seeks to permanently protect our region’s open space and special places — lands that give us beauty, lands that give us pleasure and recreation, lands that give us wildlife, lands that protect our water quality — for the benefit of our community.
