Coastal Virginia Conservancy Honored as River Star Business
We are proud to announce that Coastal Virginia Conservancy has once again been recognized for Sustained Distinguished Performance as a River Star Business by the Elizabeth River Project. This prestigious honor celebrates our ongoing commitment to restoring and protecting the health of local waterways.
This year, the recognition was given in appreciation of CVC’s impactful habitat restoration work on our new oyster reef at Lambert’s Point — a vital project helping to improve water quality and support marine life in the Elizabeth River.
A heartfelt thank you to all our supporters—this achievement wouldn’t be possible without your dedication and partnership in protecting our coast!
Join the 2026 Greatest American Cleanup — Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday!
In honor of our country’s 250th birthday, Keep America Beautiful has launched the Greatest American Cleanup with an ambitious goal: to remove 25 million pieces of litter by July 4, 2026!
You can be part of this nationwide effort right here in Norfolk. Join a local cleanup event listed here or organize your own with friends, family, colleagues, or neighbors. Whether it’s your street, park, neighborhood, or beach—every piece of litter removed brings us closer to a cleaner, greener community.
